I am pleased with the progress that i have made using html, I am now confident in creating a webpage and understanding html coding. i can now read coding and know alot of what it means. It is no longer a "foreign" language to me. i would feel quite happy now creating a website now from html. i have learnt the bulk of my knowledge from html tutorials online, i found these helpful as i searched for the solution to a problem i had when i encountered it. for example when we wanted to have music playing in the background for our site we searched for this on goole and found the solution to our problem and learnt about embeding videos and audio into a website using html.
i feel like i have done a complete turn around form being a complete beginner to html i have at least become intermediate at creating html. The reason for not being a pro at the end of the project? html is incredibly anal, with having everything perfect for links to work, pictures to appear, music to play, things to underline etc etc. It is a massive subject and couldnt be mastered even in the huge time we had for the project. i am excited about our final website as i think it looks the really good and has come such a long way since the very beginning of the idea of using trains as a basis of our design. My favourite part of the website is the iframes and the drop down menus. These things look very simple but are quite complicated, especialy the drop down menus. These things make the website the way it is, an interactive site that i think is very readable and hopefuly enjoyable to viewers of the internet-human-body.com.
